International Recognition
The International Hotel is fortunate in having a truly internationally recognised brewer and a distinctive edge over our competitors. The beer brewed at our Spring Hill Craft Brewery is made by one of Australia’s finest Gold Medal winning brewers.
With over 40 years international experience Rudi Herget, Master Brewer, has mastered the art of brewing beers in accordance with the German purity law of 1516. Rudi completed his Brewing and Malting Diploma in Cologne, Germany. He uses the finest malts, hops and yeast with purified water and absolutely adheres to no added sugar or preservatives. Rudi has brewed and manufactured beers in the countries of Switzerland, France, New Guinea and Australia.
He has held major executive positions with world renowned brewers such as San Miguel, Carlton & United Beverages, Lowenbrau & Birra Lugino.
